Viewer Questions

March 11, 2009 | Sidney O'Connell of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia

The question I have today is pretty basic. Today I was getting my jig tackle ready, and started dropping the leaded jig on the basement floor. I noticed that 80% of the time, the jig would lie flat;( instead of up, which would give my bait the best presentation.) Are the better jigs out there to give me the presentation I would like.)

Hi Sidney,

Flat headed jigs like stand up heads are good but the best I have used have been the Fin-Tech Title Shot jigs and Knuckle Ball jigs as well as Arkey Style heads will perform best when trying to stand your bait up. Just remember that the performance will be much better underwater than it will be on your floor... Check out www.jigfish.com more more on these products.
